GARY THOMAS WILSON

It is with a great sense of loss and sorrow that the family and friends of Gary Thomas Wilson announce his passing on Jan. 4, 2003 at the age of 47.
Gary was born Feb. 23, 1955 in Emo, Ont., where he spent the early part of his life. In 1976, Gary moved to Marathon, Ont., where he made many life-long friends and also met the love of his life, Pamela LeBoeuf.
They were married Nov. 11, 1978 and have two children, Terri Jean, born in 1978, and Gary Shawn, born in 1981.
Gary was employed at the local paper mill in Marathon in 1976 and again in 1995. In between, Gary started his own carpentry business, for which he hd a natural talent. Many of the homes in town, including his own, are a testament to his creations.
Gary had a love for the outdoors, and he and Pam enjoyed many hunting trips together. Gary also was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs’ fan.
Many people were touched by Gary’s optimism, kindness, and willingness to always lend a helping hand. Gary’s smile will be remembered by many.
Gary is survived by his wife, Pamela; daughter, Terri Jean; and son, Gary Shawn.
Also surviving are Gary’s parents, Joyous and Willard Wilson; brothers, Ralph (Brenda), Leonard (Cheryl), Reginald (Laurie), Melvin (Bonnie), and Robert; sisters, Teresa Redford (Ron), Marlene McQuaker (Peter), Joyous Bragg (Don), and Julie Mattson (Dan), sister-in-law, Wendy McLean; mother and father-in-law Jean and Chester LeBoeuf; sister-in-law, Kimberly Rainone (Mark); and brothers-in-law, Jerry LeBoeuf (Valerie) and Shane LeBoeuf (Shelley).
