After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Gary McClymont passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Gary was born May 18, 1954. He is the son of Florence and David Lerman of Fort Frances, Ont.; and brother to Frank McClymont (Linda) of Kenora, Ont. and David McClymont of Fort Frances, Ont.
Gary lived and enjoyed Fort Frances, the lakes, and many rural areas for fishing and hunting. Gary also was always quick to let you know just how he felt about anything one might want to talk to him about.
If you knew him well, you knew you had a real friend.
He will be missed by his immediate family; his nieces and nephews, Terry and Michael (Michel) and Ethan and Sara McClymont of Kenora and Winnipeg, Man., and Jessi Ewald of Savannah Ga.; as well as his extended family, Bobbi, Gary and Joseph Ball, and half-brother, Guy McClymont of Winnipeg, Man.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gary’s life at a come-and-go tea on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Cremation has taken place at the Rainy River Crematory in International Falls, Mn.
