In loving memory of Gary Halvorsen, 58, of Dryden, Ont., who passed away suddenly at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Man. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005.
Gary is survived by his wife, Lydia (nee Brown); son, Michael; daughters, Kristen, Lisa (Jeff) Lough, Debbie (Darren) Sheridan, and Deanne (Brad) Wendland; grandsons, Cody, Tommy, and Travis; and granddaughters, Bobbi, Kara, and Jules.
Also surviving are his brothers, Dave (Jan), Ron (Julie), Ted (Debbie), Ed (Laurel), and Jim (Charlene) Halvorsen; sisters, Ev (Howard) Roen, Donna (Leonard) Strom, Faye (Keith) McCready, and Carol (Erwin) Pietila; mother-in-law, Marg Brown; sister-in-law, Meghan and brother-in-law, David; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Gary was predeceased by his father, Carl; mother, Lottie; twin brother, Michael; and father-in-law, Frank Brown.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, Oct., 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Dryden, to be celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini.
Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery.
Visitation will take place Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 from 4-8 p.m. in the Moffat Chapel in Dryden.
