March 15, 1965 – March 16, 2021
A member of Seine River First Nation passed away peacefully on March 16, 2021 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora, Ontario.
He was predeceased by his common-law partner Helen Marie Rose Boyd; his parents Eckley and Mary Willie; as well as his siblings Christine, Frances, George, Howard, and Joe Willie.
He is survived by his children Gabe Tuesday Willie, Darrell Eckly Tuesday Willie, Henrietta Boyd; his siblings Henry Willie, Jane Brown, Richard Willie, Narda Willie; and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Nevayah, Nyla, Ocean, Xavier, Zaiden, Xylus; and beloved nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, rock, rap and country music, his favorite sports were hockey, football and baseball, he loved spending quality time with family and friends. He was a fishing guide, carpenter, pulp cutter, tree planter, and a former Chief.
Wake service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Seine River First Nation Community Hall. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Seine River First Nation Community Hall with burial to follow.
