Sadly the family announces the sudden passing of Fredrick “Ted” Scott, 88, of Fort Frances, Ontario at his residence on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
Ted was born in Fort Frances on September 13, 1932 to parents Alfred and Ethel Scott. He worked for many years driving freight truck throughout the district, retiring with the Lakehead Freightways Company.
Ted had a great love for the outdoors, spending time with family and friends hunting and fishing.
He will be lovingly remembered by his partner Verla Neufeld; his stepchildren Craig (Jackie) Neufeld and Allan Neufeld; his children Randy Scott, Gail (James) Fletcher, Raymond (Laurie) Scott, Wade Scott, Todd Scott, Jerry Scott and Dan (Tracey) Scott; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ted is also survived by his siblings Charles (Vie) Scott, Lyla Kitowski, Janet Ireton, Betty Pearson, Joan Eikre, Marge Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ted was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Ethel Scott; his brother “Sonny” Bill Scott; sisters Donna Rowell, Patricia Speruk; and stepson Wayne Neufeld.

As per Ted’s wishes cremation will take place and no funeral service. Interment in Riverview Cemetery Fort Frances at a later date.
