FRED TOPHAM

Fred Topham, 90, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. after a lengthy illness.
He was born to the late Mabel and Archie Topham on Oct. 29, 1916 in Burriss, Ont., where he resided most of his life.
Fred was united in marriage to Reta Bullied on Nov. 23, 1943, who survives along with three daughters, Dona (Alton) Pollard, Diane (Allen) Woolsey, and Julie (Allan) Seed, all of Fort Frances, Ont.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Walter; a sister, Ruby McCoy; and an infant brother, Cecil.
Fred spent several years farming, as well as logging and truck driving. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a real passion for horses.
He also loved to read and got a great deal of enjoyment from his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
