Floyd will be forever in the hearts of his family, his wife, Vicky; sons, Wayne and Darrel; stepchildren, Mark (Brenda) and Juanita (Gerry); grandchildren, Gary, Tieanna, Miranda, Kayla, and Jerry; his only sister, Shirley Smith; and several aunts and their families.

Floyd was born April 7, 1934 and lived most of his life in Kenora. He loved spending time on the lake, working on his yard, and having family and friends join him around his weekend bonfire.
He had a passion for life, an easygoing attitude, and a kind heart. He touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him, and acquired numerous friends and acquaintances through his many years of driving taxi.
His family would like to thank Dr. Sass, Kim and Carolyn, and the rest of the Kenora Hospital chemo staff, palliative care, and community care for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chemo Therapy Unit of the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, 21 Sylvan St. W., Kenora, Ont., P9N 3W7.
Services were held Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Kenora. Rev. Lamb officiated, and the organist was Kay Coulis, Floyd’s aunt.
