EVELYN BRUNDIGE

Mrs. Evelyn Brundige passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008.
She was born Aug. 5, 1917 to Alfred and Louisa Crowhurst in Sioux Lookout, Ont. and attended Cornwall School and Port Arthur Collegiate.
On July 23, 1937, she married Carl Brundige, who predeceased her on March 27, 1972.
Evelyn was a long-time member of the Order of the Royal Purple, having served as Honoured Royal Lady and District Deputy.
She is survived by her sons, Bill (Lynda) of Black Creek, B.C. and Bob (Sylvia) of Calgary, Alta.; daughter, Jackie Grynol of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother, Walter Crowhurst of Mission, B.C.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Carl; grandson, Andy Grynol; son-in-law, Nick Grynol; and sisters, Madge Peters and Norma Burgess.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Dunnill officiating.
Interment took place at Mountain View Cemetery.
