EUNICE MILDRED BOOTH

Eunice Mildred Booth, 80, of 557 Elm Ave., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Thursday, July 12, 2001 at McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont.
She was born March 3, 1921 in Emo, Ont. to the late Noble and Annie Hyatt.
Mrs. Booth lived all her life in Rainy River District. She was a member of the Redwing Rebekah Lodge and enjoyed playing Bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eunice was united in marriage April 8, 1939 to Walter, who predeceased her Nov. 2, 1985. She also was predeceased by her daughter, Shirley (Joan) Jackson; son-in-law, Eldon Jackson; two brothers, Jack and Joe Hyatt; and one sister, Aileen Strachan.
She is survived by her children, Jean Booth of Fort Frances, Gwen (Wayne) Herbert of Emo, Connie Scott of Fort Frances, Debra (Brad) Kruger of Dryden, and Rick (Lois) of Brampton.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Brad, Brock, Ray, and Angela Herbert, Gayle Rys, John Jackson, Bryanna and Billie Scott, Travis and Tressa Booth, and Katelyn and Tyler Kruger; and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are brothers, Angus (Fern) Hyatt of Fort Frances, George Hyatt of Devlin, and Fred (Evelyn) Hyatt of Thunder Bay; sisters, Shirley Mills and Vivian Cole, both of Dryden, Grace (Keith) Nielson of Stratton, Sylvia Beadle, and Joyce (Don) Walton, all of Fort Frances; brothers-in-law, Martin Booth of Emo, Bert Booth of Atikokan, Roland (Anne) Booth of Sarnia, and Harvey Strachan of Fort Frances; sister-in-law, Ethel (Jim) Khober of Emo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, with Rev. Diane Clifford officiating. Interment will take place later in the family plot in Burriss Cemetery.
Honourary pallbearers will be Eunice’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
