It is with great sadness that the family of Erva Fay Pfannmuller announces her passing on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the LaVerendrye General Hospital.
Erva was born on December 21, 1931 in Grandview, Manitoba to Rosella and Stuart Chambers. As a young woman she worked as a waitress, it was during a shift that she met Donald Charles Wall, they were married and had 10 children together. They relocated to Terrace, B.C. when the children were young. She lost her husband in 1976 at the age of 48 but was blessed to find love again with Fred Pfannmuller and lived in Alberta for many years together. After his passing, she moved to Fort Frances to be closer to her daughter Ella and her family. She returned to Alberta briefly, spending time with other family but returned to Fort Frances in 2015 for her final years. She loved to garage sale, putter around the house and tend to flowers.
She was predeceased by her parents; first husband Donald Charles Wall; second husband Fred Maxamillion Pfannmuller; daughter Shirley Purdy; sons Doug and Tim Wall; sister Blunda and brothers Art and Leonard Chambers.
Erva leaves behind her children Linda Wall, Catherine Robinson, Leonard Wall, Marlene Turcotte, Ella Wall, Art Wall, Thelma Dillman; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Ella Nyberg, Darlene; and brother John Chambers.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place.
