It is with great sadness we inform you that Erna (Geissler) Hodgson of Stratton, Ont., beloved wife, mother, and Oma, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at the age of 71 after an unexpected illness.
Erna lived in Northwestern Ont. since emigrating from Germany in the early 1960s; she has called Stratton home for the last 40 years.
Some of Erna’s greatest passions were nurturing her many gardens, as well as cooking and baking up delectable treats for her family and friends.
Her beautiful, kind, generous, and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to gather as a celebration of her life, followed by a luncheon, on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont.
