Mrs. Elvera Roulston, 70, a resident of 275 Madeline St., passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital (General) on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 following a brief illness.
Elvera was born in Fort Frances, Ont. She resided there until her retirement from nursing in 1986, then moved with her husband to Thunder Bay, where she was employed with Comcare until 1989.
She enjoyed gardening, camping, needlework, and especially her home and family.
Elvera is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Bouchard of Mine Centre, Ont. and Coleen (Edward) Pruys of Thunder Bay, Ont.; two grandchildren, Shannon and Jeffrey Pruys; and sister, Annette Lagont of Nacogdoches, Texas.
Elvera was predeceased by her husband, Gordon in 1989; parents, Molly and Alexander Lagont; and brother, Alexander.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Ivany.
Interment of cremains will take place in the family plot in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
