Elsie Adeline Clark (nee Campbell) passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2011.
She was born Aug. 24, 1919 to George and Elsie Campbell at Monitor, Alta., and grew up on a farm at Emo, Ont.
She met her future husband, Harry W. (Hap) Clark, in Fort Frances, Ont., and they married in 1942.
Hap and Elsie moved their family of two children to Edmonton, Alta. in 1953, where two more children were born. After a short stay in North Battleford, Sask. in the 1960s, they moved to Calgary, Alta. in 1966.
Elsie was a loving mother and grandmother, and dedicated her life to the care of her family. She lives in us all.
She leaves behind her children, Pam (Larry Bednar) of Calgary, Alta., Earl (Deborah Simmons) of Melbourne, Australia, Glen (Deborah McPhail Andoney) of Calgary, Alta., and Heather (Gary Kembel) of Yarker, Ont., and their families.
She also leaves her sisters, Alice Irvine and Pearl (Bob) MacLeod; and sisters-in-law, Gwen and Miriam.
Elsie was predeceased by Hap in 2004; and by siblings, Ken, Jean Curtis, Eva Newman, Bill, and Bob.
Elsie’s remains will be interred at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens in Calgary, in a private family ceremony.
