ELEANOR ADELHEIT BLASKY

Eleanor Blasky, 76, a longtime resident of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Thursday, June 29, 2000 in North Bay, Ont.
She was born July 29, 1923 in Winnipeg, Man. to the late William and Elmira Rudolph. On Oct. 27, 1950, she was united in marriage to Carl Blasky at Fort Frances, who predeceased her July 3, 1994.
She also was predeceased by her father, William Rudolph in 1964; mother, Elmira Rudolph in 1973; brother, Arthur Rudolph; sister, Margaret Rudolph; sister-in-law, Marie Rudolph; father-in-law, Stanley Blasky and mother-in-law, Mary Blasky; brother-in-law, Edward Blasky; and nephew, David Rudolph.
She is survived by son, William Carl Blasky and wife, Colleen, of Campbell River, B.C.; daughter, Carol Louise Jodouin and husband, Gary, of North Bay; and four grandchildren, Neil William Blasky and Trevor John Blasky of Campbell River, B.C., and Derek Michael Jodouin and Melanie Louise Jodouin of North Bay.
Also surviving are brother-in-law, Stanley M. Blasky and wife, Margaret, and family of Fort Frances; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Eleanor was employed as secretary-bookkeeper at various places in Fort Frances, Township of McIrvine, J.A. Mathieu Ltd., Provincial Court of Ontario, and Canada Customs and others for numerous years. Her main interest was her family, children, and grandchildren, whom she loved very dearly.
She was a life-long member of The Church of the Lutheran Hour.
A visitation was held Tuesday, July 4, 2000 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Prayers were held at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of the Lutheran Hour in Fort Frances. Rev. David Gallas officiated, with interment in the Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
