ELAINE SPICER

Elaine Patricia Spicer passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 in Brantford, Ont.
She was the youngest daughter of Edwin and Emma Spicer, formerly of Kingsford Township, Ont.
Elaine attended public school at Kingsford #1 School and then Fort Frances High School. She later went on to train for a Registered Nurse at the Port Arthur General Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont.
After graduation, Elaine moved to London, Ont. to pursue her nursing career.
She moved back to Fort Frances in the early 1960s and nursed in St. Anne’s Ward at La Verendrye Hospital, where she helped deliver many local babies.
Elaine retired due to poor health and the family moved to Eastern Ontario again in 1998.
Elaine is survived by her three siblings, Dois Ossachuk, Betty Zajac (Jerry), and Calvin Spicer (Judy); and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by her mother and father; and infant brother; and brother-in-law, Bill Ossachuk.
Cremation has taken place, with a family interment at a later date.
