EDWIN ‘ED’ HICKEY

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edwin “Ed” Hickey on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Edwin was born Nov. 1, 1941 in Fort Frances, Ont.
He was the proud superintendent of the NCJW Foundation building for more than 20 years, until his retirement in 2011.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Jody Sue Hickey; twin sister, Edna Lambert, and brother-in-law, Gerald (Bucky) Lambert; niece, Lisette (Terry) and children, Amy, Jessica, and Brett and families; and nephew, James (Dawn) and daughter, Ashley, and family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph John (1983) and Louise Alberta (1986); brother, Leonard Arthur (2005); as well as his nephew, Charles “Chuck” Lambert (2015).
It was Ed’s wish that he be cremated and therefore there will be no service.
