Sadly, the family of Edward Grynol, 81, of Fort Frances, Ont., announces his passing on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Ed was born July 29, 1931 in Fort Frances to Matt and Sophia Grynol.
He was united in marriage to Lenore Connor on Aug. 8, 1953, and they resided in Fort Frances and raised their family.
Ed loved spending time in the outdoors with family and friends. He also loved fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He will be greatly missed by his sons, Ed (Nancy) and Ken; daughter-in-law, Michelle; and grandchildren, Trevor, Robin (Nicole), Penny (Paul), Aaron, Scott, Jonna, Nathan, Jason, and Jennifer Sobkowicz; and several great-granchildren.
Ed also is survived by his sisters, Eileen (Jim) Davis and Delores (Buzzy) Wickstrom; brother-in-law, Ken McFayden; sister-in-law, Marie McDiarmid; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was predeceased by his parents, Matt and Sophie Grynol; wife, Lenore; and son, Timothy.
As per Ed’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
