Edward was born and raised in Fort Frances to Don and Johanna Christian, one of seven children. He was a member of Sea Cadets, playing the drums. Edward left school early to do the things he loved, motorcycles, cars and transport trucks. He would tell you he had a million miles under his belt. In his early 30’s he made a move to Cambridge, Ont., because of health reasons. Edward loved animals and for many years you would find Ed and his loyal dog Spike heading down to Tim’s on King St. where  they made many buddies to talk about trucks over a cup of coffee. He also was an avid pool player and was proud winning many competitions in his area.

Edward was predeceased by his parents; brother Andy and sister-in-law Patty Christian. He is survived by brother Gary (Carolyn), sisters Deena and Susan (Henry), brother, Les and Keith, sister-in-law Trudy Christian and many special cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place with interment and a private family ceremony to be at a later date.
