EDITH SEGUIN

Sadly, the family announces the passing of Edith Seguin, of Pinewood, Ont., on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at the Rainy River Health Centre in Rainy River, Ont. at the age of 86.
Edith was born Oct. 12, 1927 in Deerlock, Ont. to Erwin and Katherin Strom.
She was united in marriage to Theodore Seguin on July 12, 1948. They settled in Nelles Township, where they farmed and logged while raising their family.
Later they moved to Pinewood, where Edith remained until her passing.
She enjoyed gardening and all that farm life had to offer.
Edith is survived by her children, Margaret (Ken) Bazylewski and Peter Seguin, all of Pinewood, Ont., and Cathy Mowe of Barwick, Ont.; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by her siblings, Leonard (Donna) Strom, Eleanor (Carl) Pikov, and Iona (Ray) Fillion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edith was predeceased by her parents, Erwin and Katherin Strom; husband, Theodore; children, Ervin and Linda; and siblings, Everett Strom, Mary Gouliquer, Merla Muth, Margaret Adams, Elvina Zuke, Edward Strom, and Henry Strom.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Northridge Funeral Home, with Rev. Ralph Fluit officiating.
Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River.
The pall bearers will be Michael Furlong Jr., Morris Furlong, Nelson Brown, Dave Seguin, Claude Seguin, and Bert Seguin.
