It is with great sadness that the family of Dyan Annette Vizenor (nee Dohmen) announces her passing on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016.
Dyan was born July 2, 1976 in Minneapolis, Mn.
She lived and worked throughout Minnesota as a retail manager for Dollar General. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends on both sides of the border.
Dyan leaves behind her four children, Dennis (Tess), Drake, Derrick, and Damaris Egan, all of Albertville, Mn.
She also is survived by her mother, Bernice Dohmen of International Falls, Mn.; brothers, Dennis Jr. of International Falls, Mn. and Ben Dohmen of West St. Paul, Mn.; sister, Denise Dohmen (Wally) of Fort Frances, Ont.; and grandmother, Elizabeth Brown of Rainy River First Nations, Ont.
Also surviving are her nephews, Damon Dohmen (Josie) of Blaine, Mn., Bruce Wilson of Fort Frances, Ont., and Joe Dohmen of West St. Paul, Mn.; niece, Brittany Ranum (Jake) of West St. Paul, Mn.; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins throughout Canada and the U.S.
Dyan was predeceased by her dad, Dennis Dohmen; niece, Brandi Dohmen; and nephew, Chadrack Robson.
A celebration of Dyan’s life will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 810 5th St., in International Falls.
Luncheon to follow at the VFW, 1416 3rd Ave., in International Falls.
