It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dorothy Rejina May (Luxton) Selman, who passed away June 30, 2002 at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, with her family by her side.
Dorothy was born to Albert and Pearl Luxton on Aug. 31, 1925 in Nakina, Ont. She was the eldest of eight children, and the mother of 10 children.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Russel (Lily) Luxton of Thunder Bay, Linda (Edward) Jewett of Dryden, Lori (Richard) Koshman of Isnfield, Donald Zaparniuk (Alice Cupp) of Fort Frances, Debbie (Phillip) Gosnell of Dryden, Larry Selman of Dryden, Elaine Selman (Lance Jordan) of Fort Frances, Joyce (Andy) Butts of Dryden, and Dale Selman of Dry-den.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Ronald; and husband, Clifford.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 26, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Frances.
