Dorothy “Dot” May Ruecker, 75, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 1998 at Regina, Sask.
She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Mary; husband, Philip; and three brothers, Louis, Ernest, and Charles Goldamer.
Dot is survived by her loving family, daughter, Kathryn (Kim) Thomson of Regina; son, David (Edie) of Regina; six grandchildren, Jason and Sarah Thomson, and Daniel, Janalee, Kyle, and Robbie Ruecker; one sister, Lillian Phaklides of International Falls, Mn.; and numerous other family members and friends.
Dot lived and was schooled in Fort Frances, Ont., where she met and married Phil. Shortly after they relocated to Saskatchewan.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 14, 1998 at 1 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church (4825 Dewdney Ave.) in Regina, with Pastor Robert Leeson officiating.
Interment followed in Riverside Memorial Park, Soldiers’ Section.
Flowers most gratefully decline, however, friends so wishing may make donations to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, Sask., S4P 3G7.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Helmsing Funeral Chapel in Regina.
