Dorothy Biggs, 71

In loving memory of Dorothy Biggs, 71, of Fort Frances, Ont., who passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2001 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Bob; father; Cliff; son, Robbie; special friend, Jim Donovan; brother, Bud; brother-in-law, Barry; and nephew, Dana.
She will be sadly missed by her family, mother, Winnie Smith; daughters, Carole (Duane) Rostie, and Janey Biggs (Darrell Armstrong); grandchildren, Adrian (Louise) Campbell, Corey (Wendy) Bombay, Cari (Chad) Rostie, Krissy (Brent) Rostie, and Bobby Rostie; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kira, Spencer, and Hannah; sister, Hazel (Tom) Eccleston; sisters-in-law, Joan Biggs and Blanche Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dorothy was born Dec. 14, 1929 in Winnipeg, Man. She was united in marriage to Bob on Nov. 28, 1946. Dorothy and Bob were active members of the Kitchen Creek Golf Club, and she was an avid curler, a member of the Arthritis Society, and Kinettes.
She also enjoyed gardening, knitting, and spending time at the lake.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Rev. Diane Clifford will officiate, with interment in River-view Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Friends may visit on hour prior to the funeral service Saturday.
Honourary pallbearers will be all of Dorothy’s family and friends.
