It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Donald (Don) Roy Wilson on February 8, 2019.
He was born on September 26, 1952 to the late Cleve and Julia Wilson.
He lived his life on the family farm and was a devoted farmer.
He continued many plants that were started on the family homestead. Don loved his animals and enjoyed stock car racing, hunting and fishing. He could build or fi x almost anything and liked to watch programs and videos on how to build or make things.
He worked at Witherspoons, the local mill, Acklands and Vissers.
Don is predeceased by his parents Cleve and Julia Wlison; brother-inlaw Gordon Robinson and sisterin-law Marg Wilson.
He leaves behind his sister Betty Robinson, brother Bob Wilson, nephew Darryck Robinson, niece Ann (John) Craig and nephew Tylar (Missy) Wilson; great nieces Chelsey Craig (Nick), Libby (Matt) Moen and great nephew Colton Craig (Kenzie); great nieces Katie Burnet, Kristina Brunet (Jeff ), great great niece Bristol Moen and most recently great great nephew Bryson Moen. Also Malakai Burnet, Maxwell Campbell, Grace Burnet and Austin Penman.
Don is also survived by his Uncle Rueben Korb, Aunt Margaret Beninger (Atikokan) and Mary Frehse (Walterloo, Iowa).
As per his wishes a small family gathering will be held at a later date.
If so desired in donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
Th e family would also like to say “Thank-you” to the hospital and clinic staff from Th under Bay and Fort Frances for their excellent care and support.
