It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dianna Engstrom on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 at Squamish General Hospital in Squamish, B.C. after many years of battling cancer.
She was surrounded daily by her family and many close friends.
Dianna is survived by her son, Doug (Barbara); grandchildren, Max, Megan, and Rachel; Jim (father of Doug and Dennis); brothers, Fred, Harvey, and Armin; and sister, Harriett.
Dianna was predeceased by her loving son, Dennis; sister, Virginia (survived by Carl); brothers, Vernon and Robert; and her dear parents, Emily and Fred (survived by Muriel).
Dianna was born on May 24, 1943 and will be fondly remember by her family and friends in Squamish, Fort Frances, Ont., and North Vancouver.
Everyone who holds one of her knitted or crocheted hats and scarves will wear them remembering the good times, the smiles, and the laughter they shared.
Until we meet again, we hold your life and love in our memories and close to our heart.
A memorial service will he held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Squamish Funeral Chapel, 40440 Tantalus Rd., Squamish, B.C.
