DIANA MAE McBRIDE

Diana Mae McBride, 67, of Coon Rapids, Mn., passed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2010 while surrounded by her loving family and the U of M Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, Mn.
She was born June 18, 1942 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Michael of Coon Rapids, Mn.; and son, Shane (Kristine) and the two lights of her life, her grandchildren, Logan and Julia McBride, of Andover, Mn.
Also surviving are her mother, Mary Sokil of Fort Frances, Ont.; sister, Jeannette Lundy of Barrie, Ont.; and brothers-in-law, Mark (Deb) of Grand Rapids, Mn., and Brian (Maggie) and Tim (Nancy) of International Falls, Mn.
Diana also was a loving aunt to seven nieces and one nephew; and many grand nieces and nephews.
Diana also will be remembered fondly by a large extended family and many special friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Harry Sokil; father-in-law, Mark McBride; mother-in-law, Mardella McBride; brother-in-law, Joe Lundy; and four nieces.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Epiphany Catholic Church, 1900 111th Ave. NE, Coon Rapids, Mn., 55433.
Visitation will be held at the church from 10-11 a.m.
Lunch will be served following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that in memoriam donations be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to a charity of your choice.
