DELORES BEVERLY WICKSTROM

On Saturday, July 25, 2015, surrounded by her family, Delores Beverly Wickstrom passed away peacefully to be reunited with her Saviour, parents, and siblings.
Delores was born Nov. 18, 1937 in Fort Frances, Ont. and had lived here all her life.
She was the owner/operator of Fort Floral for many years and also had worked at Tichborne’s Real Estate, Mario’s Jewellers, and the Royal Bank.
She was an active member of St. Mary’s Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking. She was known for her cabbage rolls and she taught her grandchildren to carry on the tradition.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, Alvin “Buzz” Wickstrom and their four children, Debbie and Rob Martinson, Cindy and Paul Avis, David and Brenda Wickstrom, and Curtis and Melinda Wickstrom.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Sophia Grynol; and her siblings, Eileen Davis (Jim) and Edward Grynol (Lenora).
A celebration of Delores’ life will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Fort Frances.
Fr. Victor De Gagné will officiate, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
The honourary pallbearers will be Delores’ grandchildren, Amanda, Sara, Holly, Allan, Amy, Andrew, Shara, Beri, Jessie, and Josh.
