DEBORAH LEE INKSTER

With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend, Deborah Lee Inkster.
After her long battle with cancer, this beautiful, talented, and strong woman took her last breath on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at the Marjorie Snowden Willoughby Hospice in Kamloops, B.C. with her children, mother, and a few close friends by her side.
Born to Bud and Elaine Hebert on March 21, 1952, Debbie is survived by her children, Jimmy (Laura), Jody (Scott), Jen (Andy), and Jackie (Dexter); as well as her grandchildren, Haley, Luke, Camryn, and Julia.
Also left to mourn Debbie’s passing are her mother, Elaine; brothers, Rod (Deb), Brian (Cindy), Bob, and Stan (Jill); sister, Barb Beck (Bob); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Debbie was predeceased by her father, L.A. (Bud) Hebert; grandparents, Larry and Nora Hebert and Stan and Annice Allen; and nephew, Jamie Onichuk.
During Debbie’s journey of life, she was well-known by many in Kamloops for her talent as a seamstress, dedication as a teacher’s aide, and her special touch in the kitchen.
All who knew her will remember this “Sunshine Girl” as a warm, caring, and generous woman.
Debbie will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched.
A celebration of Debbie’s life was held Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. at 6164 Furrer Rd. in Kamloops.
