Mr. David William MacGillivray, 75, passed away quietly at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003.
Dave was born in St. Vital, Man., but spent the most of his years in Geraldton, Thunder Bay, and the Emo area.
Throughout his life, he worked as a mechanic, welder, school bus driver, and as a craftsman creating ornamental ironwork, wooden clocks, and various other pieces.
He loved the outdoors, horses, dancing, and skiing. Dave also enjoyed travelling the countryside.
Dave is survived by his children, Eva Scollie (Barry), Linda, Jeff (Goldie), and Cindy Maxwell; grandchildren; great grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister; as well as numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his son, William David MacGillivray.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a future date.
