David Gordon Triskle, of 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ontario, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at the age of 82.
He was born on April 1, 1928 in Rainy River, Ontario to the late Frank and Mary Triskle.
David worked as a logger in the bush in many areas including Flanders until he was injured and retired.
David will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
David is survived by one son, David Triskle and wife, Nadine Beaton of Armstrong, ON.; three grandchildren, Georgina and family, Jennifer Triskle, and Kelly Triskle and family; and one brand new great-great-grandson; one daughter, Rita Mentuck of Winnipeg, MB.; six grandchildren, Teresa, Chrissy, Tracy, David, Chelsy, and Charles Jr.; and fourteen great-grandchildren;
He is also survived by two brothers, Gregory Triskle, and Floyd Triskle and wife Polly all of Kenora, ON.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son-in-law, Chris Mentuck, and one sister-in-law, Elsie Triskle.
A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ontario with Father Kris McKusky officiating.
Honourary pallbearers will be all his family and friends that were important in his life.
