David Ernest William Barras passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 in Laval, Que.
He was born May 12, 1966 in Fort Frances, Ont.
After helping his sister on R.R.#1 (Fort Frances), David worked for Canada Post in Fort Frances, Thompson, Man., Calgary, Alta., and finally Montreal, Que.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashton, and son, David, of Calgary, Alta.; his mother, Lydia, of Emo, Ont.; and sisters, Pearl of Fort Frances, Ont., Linda (Ed) LaFleur of Thunder Bay, Ont., Karen (Rick) Huitikka of Ladysmith, B.C., Vickie Conway of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Kristie Walraad of Thunder Bay, Ont.
Also surviving are his nephews, Anthony LaFleur (Tuula) of Thunder Bay, Ont. and Bryan Huitikka of Ladysmith, B.C.; nieces, Samantha and Jennifer Conway of Thunder Bay, Ont., Nicole Huitikka of Ladysmith, B.C., and Lexis and Mya Walraad of Thunder Bay, Ont.; and great-nieces and nephews, Adam, Brooklyn, and Cable LaFleur and Jude and Nash Tougas.
David was predeceased by his father, David; son, Fredrick; and brother, Andrew.
A memorial service is pending.
