Between time and tide
Heaven and hell
It stands still for no one
As of late another family member
Has fallen.
The time we had
Was a long and happy life,
There were many pitfalls and hurdles along the way,
Hardships and heartaches
Most were overcome
But time has a way of
Creeping upon you,
And is a thief.
It is with a sad heart and a
Tortured soul and
Many good and bad memories
That we leave behind a brother
Who now resides in the
House of the Lord.
Gone now and his chains
That bound him to this earth,
Now at peace.
Rest.
