It is with great sadness that the family of David Bois, of Fort Frances, Ont., announces his passing on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
David was born May 29, 1931 in Coppell, Ont. to Octave and Marguerite (La Flamme) Bois. He was united in marriage to Laurette Cote on Aug. 1, 1959.
He enjoyed working in the bush all of his life, and he had a great love for hunting and fishing.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Laurette; son, Gilles (Kathy) Bois; daughter, Suzanne Larson; and grandchildren, Travis (Kiersten Tittlemier), Eric, and Danielle Bois, and Brandon and Sarah Larson.
David also is survived by his brother, Omer (Rejeanne) Bois; sisters, Rita (Paul) Dutil, Annette Caron, Yvette Wabick, and Juliette Bois; brother-in-law, Raymond (Pierrette) Cote; sisters-in-law, Anna Cote, Rachel Cote, Rollande Cote, and Evelyn Rice; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his parents, Octave and Marguerite Bois; his in-laws, Marie (Gosslin) and Alfred Cote; son-in-law, Leonard Larson; brother, Alfred Bois; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.
A time of fellowship will be held Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont.
Cremation has taken place, with interment to follow at a later date.
