It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darren Thomas Connon at the age of 57.
Darren was born on April 15, 1960 in Winnipeg, Man. to Pearline Mae Connon and Thomas Alexander Connon, who predeceased him.
Darren is survived by his sisters, Val Marie Connon, Debbie Connon-Cawston (Rod), and Terri Lalond (Kevin); special nephew, Shawn Connon (Juanita), lovingly referred to as “Mac”; and nieces and nephews, A.J. Wilson (Jordan), Jaimie Lalond (Teia), Ryan Lalond, and Brandon Lalond, all of Kelowna, B.C.
He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Darren lived in Winnipeg for many years. He held various jobs, most recently as maintenance man of his apartment building until failing health made it impossible to work anymore.
As per Darren’s wishes, there will be no service.
His cremated remains will be laid to rest with his parents at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River, Ont.
