Despite having a troubled life, Darlene Desorcy (Brown) was beautiful both inside and out.
In spite of her hardships, she remained soft and kind. She was able to forget slights and, ironically, it was a problem with forgetting that caused her demise.
Early-onset Alzheimer’s claimed her, at 55 years old, on April 27, 2012 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
She was born Jan. 12, 1957.
Darlene is survived by her only child, Jen Romnes; son-in-law, Kris Romnes, and beloved granddaughters, Kate and Chloe.
She also is survived by her common law-husband, Pat Desorcy, and his new wife and children.
Darlene’s ashes will be interred Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances, Ont.
While resting in peace, she will never be forgotten.
