In his 86th year, Ralph passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998 in Hawkesbury, Ont.
He was the beloved husband of Julia (Jardine) of Napanee and formerly Hamilton; dearly loved father of Michael (Louise) Whetstone of Hawkesbury and Louise (James) Stokes of Hamilton; grandfather of Michele and David Whetstone; and brother of the late Thora Dickie Ashworth of Hamilton.
Ralph was a former Navy bandmaster, music teacher, and Mason. He taught music almost until his death.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 1999 at 11 a.m. in Centenary United Church in Hamilton, Ont.
