DANIEL ALEXANDER WRIGHT

Mr. Daniel Alexander Wright, 50, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ont., passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002.
Dan was born and raised in Atikokan, Ont. He was married to Nola Springsteel in 1978 in International Falls, Mn.
For many years, Dan worked in tourism and economic development for the Ontario government in Atikokan and Rainy River, Ont. For three years, he managed a peat plant in Fort 495,Frances, Ont.
In July, 2001, Dan and his family moved to Thunder Bay and he presently was the Partnership Development Co-coordinator for the Northern Ontario Native Tourism Association.
Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and walking, but his main focus was always was his family.
Dan is survived by his wife, Nola; children, Robert Douglas (girlfriend, Mandy), Cynthia Marie (boyfriend, Dave), and Stephanie Nicole, all of Thunder Bay, Ont.; father, Robert of Atikokan, Ont.; sister, Shirley of Thunder Bay, Ont.; and niece and nephew, Melanie and Jeff.
Aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives also survive.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mildred.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel in Thunder Bay, with Rev. Lloyd Ivany officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel in Thunder Bay.
A tree will be planted in memory of Daniel Wright in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. The annual dedication service is slated Sunday, June 29, 2003.
