Waasigan-binesiwag Ikwe
Beloved partner of Parker Strong, and her little love Phalen.
Courtney was a loving daughter, sister, auntie, granddaughter, niece, cousin, partner, and friend. She made friends everywhere she went, leaving a special place in the hearts of so many people along the way.
Courtney loved to socialize, she always joked around, and loved to make people laugh. Her laugh was so contagious that you couldn’t help but laugh with her. She loved to be around family, especially her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. Court loved to fish, go for walks and hang out with friends. She was the sweetest, yet most intimidating person in the best way possible. She fought for what she believed in and stuck up for anyone in need. Her favourite food was pizza with a side of bepsi. She was always off on an adventure and always had silly stories of her family looking for her meanwhile she was just having fun.
Courtney grew up in Big Grassy, Kenora and Rat Portage, all of which she called home. She spent the last couple of years making a brighter future for herself in Kenora with the help of her “Other Mommy/Auntie mommy” Winter. She had so many close family members and friends ranging across turtle island.
