Cornelius M. Fehr, 74, of Shenston Township, Ont., passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003 at his home.
Cornelius was born in 1929 in Hague, Sask. He was united in marriage to Anna Fehr on Oct. 24, 1948 and together they moved to Ontario in 1963.
He had a love of farming, and always had time to visit friends and relatives. He was always working in his shop and really enjoyed restoring his old tractor.
He will be missed.
Cornelius is survived by his wife, Anna; and 11 brothers and sisters, Anna Penner of Hague, Sask., Justina Derksen of Emo, Ont.. Helen Wiebe of Regina, Sask., Margaret Derksen of La Crete, Alta., Peter Fehr of Barwick, Ont., Isaac Fehr of Taber, Alta., Mary Bodnaruk of Oyen, Alta., Tina Bludoff of Coledale, Alta., Susan Martens of Fort Vermilion, Alta., John Fehr of Rainy River, Ont., and Betty Herdman of Calgary, Alta.; and 52 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Anna Fehr.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 27, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapple Community Hall in Barwick, Ont. Mr. Bill Friesen officiated, with interment in the Chapple Cemetery in Barwick.
Pallbearers were Wes Derksen, Cornelius Fehr Jr., George Rempel, Dwight Stang, William Derksen, and Brian Williams.
