CLAUDIA DOMANSKI

Claudia Domanski, 93, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Claudia was born Dec. 1, 1921 in Fort Frances.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; son, Gary; parents, Arthur and Medora LaFrance; brothers, Leo and Daniel, and sister, Noella.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Georgianne, and granddaughter, Andrea.
She also is survived by her sisters, Rita Ruelle and Cecile Vavricka; brothers, Pete, Buzz (Lucy), and Guy (Linda); sister-in-law, Vi Domanski; as well as many special nieces and nephews.
Claudia enjoyed curling and golfing, and remained an active Bridge player. She treasured the friendships she made during these years.
She also had a flare for cooking, entertaining, and needlework.
She was a life member of the C.W.L. of St. Mary’s Parish and a long-time member of the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary.
A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances, with Fr. Victor De Gagné officiating.

Flowers grew where you stood,
