CINDY GOSSELIN

It is with saddest of hearts that the family of Cindy Kay Gosselin announces her passing on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.
For all who knew Cindy knew that she was a hospitable, kind-hearted, and a humble person whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters.
Cindy was employed with the LCBO for more than 30 years, and was counting down and looking forward to her retirement, which would allow her to spend even more time with family.
Cindy was born on May 11, 1959 in Marshfield, Wis. but was raised in International Falls, Mn. She graduated from Falls High School in 1977.
In 1978, Cindy married the love of her life, Carey Gosselin, and they moved to Fort Frances, Ont., where they raised their two children.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Paul and Viola Harder; father, Donald Harder and mother, Irene Smazel; as well as her brother in-law, Lynn Gosselin, and his son, Tanner Gosselin.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Carey Gosselin; son, Cory Gosselin; and daughter, Crystal (Jamie) Skrien, along with their two daughters (Grandma’s little princesses), Cheznee and McKynlee Skrien of International Falls, Mn.; and nine siblings, Dale Harder of Lampasas, Tex., Dave (Gigie)Harder of International Falls, Mn., Dennis Harder of Bemidji, Mn., Mike (Jill) Harder of New York Mills, Mn., Marlene (Bob) McKinney of Littlefork, Mn., Dawn (Dean) Piekarski of Littlefork, Mn., Wendy (Jim) Blake of Lewiston, Idaho, Brian Harder of Unity, Wis., and Gene (Gwen) Smazel of Unity, Wis.
She also is survived by her mother- and father-in-law, Evylyn and Fred Gosselin of Fort Frances, Ont.; and brother- and sister in-laws, Judy Klem, Cindy (Brian) Hall, Lori (Gary) Durbin, and Tamara (Mike) Beyak, all of Fort Frances, Ont., Fred Gosselin of Sylvan Lake, Alta., and John (Cindy) Gosselin of Windsor, Ont.
Cindy has numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.
Funeral services took place Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
The honourary pallbearers were Cindy Rognerud, Dawn Piekarski, Vicki Fulton, Cindy Hall, Lisa Armit, Linda Rajala, Anne Sullivan, and Judy VanDerZeeuw.
A luncheon followed at noon at the Fort Frances Legion.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests in memoriam donations be made to the Fort Frances Community Chest or Tamarack House in Thunder Bay, Ont.
