It is with much sadness that the family of Cindy Fae Mounk (White) announce that she has passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on October 24, 1954, to Charles and Elaine White.
Mom led a simple, but happy life. She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, spending time with her animals (we had many over the years), and she also enjoyed spending time quilting. Those were her passions, aside from spending time with her family and sharing her faith. Mom married her beloved husband, Dale Mounk, on May 16, 1998, and together they have lived a God-centred life.

In her earlier days, mom lived in Williams Lake, B.C., and Kenora, and back to Fort Frances not long after that, and spent the remainder of her life here. When she was younger you could usually find Cindy harassing her five younger siblings, some more than others, depending on which sibling tells the story.
Cindy was predeceased by her mother Elaine Martha White-Kiddle; her father Charles Arthur White; step-father Thomas Kiddle; brother Blaine White; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her husband Dale Mounk; daughter Mandy McCoy (White); grandson Kenneth Allan; step-children Amy Spicer (Brian) and Chris Mounk; grandchildren Lynton, Mikael, and Kali; sisters Barb McMillen (Warren), Kelly Boehmer (Dan); sister-in-law Beth White (Blaine); brothers Randy White (Diane), and Doug White. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom did not want a funeral, but a graveside burial with family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: One Hope Canada, 3-212 Henderson Hwy, Box 323, Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1L8 (please designate to Rainy River District Ministries) or EMT: masts@bell.net
Arrangements entrusted to Northridge Funeral Home Ltd., Emo, Ontario.
One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
– Psalms 27:4
