Cicely Margaret Cole

Cicely Cole, 86, of Cranbrook, B.C., passed away Sunday, May 24, 1998 at Steepleview Extended Care in Cranbrook.
Cicely was born Dec. 4, 1911 in Manchester, England to the late Charles and Cicely McWatt. In 1922, she moved with her family to Canada and settled in Fort Frances, Ont.
On Nov. 27, 1934, Cicely was united in marriage to G. Charles Cole and together they lived in Fort Frances. In 1995, she moved to Cranbrook until her passing.
Cicely enjoyed her home, being a homemaker, and taking care of her family, who were always first and foremost in her life.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Cole (Dec. 9, 1979); infant daughter, Dayle; and two sisters, Dorothy Robinson and Alice Gosselin.
Cicely is survived by her son, Wayne Cole of Cranbrook, B.C.; three grandchildren, Candice, Scott, and Reagan; two great-grandchildren of Fort Frances, Ont.; sister, Agnes Stewart of Hamilton, Ont.; brother, Bud McWatt and wife, Romona, of Waterloo, Ont.; two nieces, Betty and husband, Lyle Martin, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Joan and husband, Don Foster, of Emo, Ont.; and several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 2, 1998 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Pastor Brian Keffer officiated, with interment in Fort Frances Cemetery in Fort Frances.
