Cheryl Anne Gellately (nee Olivier) passed away at her home in Devlin, Ont. on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the age of 56.
Cheryl was born in Sudbury, Ont. on Oct. 2, 1953 to the late Adolphe Olivier and Jennie Olivier (Sorenson).
She is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Gellately; her siblings, Harold (Rita) Olivier, Jimmy (the late Helen)(Pauline) Olivier, Barry (Jenette) Olivier, and Charlie (Linda) Olivier; her children, Dana (Rachel) Gellately and Christina (Mark) Singleton; and her grandchildren, Grant, Liam, and Conner.
Anyone who knew Cheryl loved her dearly for all her many talents and passions. She loved her family, friends, playing cards, fishing, gardening, photography, reading, and being in the outdoors.
She was happiest when sharing her talents, time, and energy with all her friends and family, young and old.
Cheryl was an exceptionally talented local artist who successfully tried her hand at every art or craft medium for the pure joy of it.
Her love, laughter, generosity, and passion of spirit will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
