Dear Family and Friends,

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Baldwin (nee Weir) on August 13, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on May 6, 1946, in Fort Frances, Ontario to Delores and Albert Weir, Cheryl was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gary Charles Baldwin; her daughters, Sarah Catherine and Courtney Paige; her grandchildren, Ridley and Kayden; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Cheryl was an outgoing person who formed lifelong friendships across the many communities she called home, including Fort Frances, Winnipeg, Penticton, and North Vancouver. She enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and traveling throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. Passionate about interior design, she successfully renovated several properties over the years. Cheryl also dedicated approximately 28 years as the office manager at her husband’s law firm in North Vancouver, where she loved welcoming everyone who visited.

Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to her physician, Dr. Sharen Lees, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff at Lions Gate Hospital and Vancouver Coastal Health. Their exceptional care and compassion during her final days brought great comfort to our family.
