It is with great sadness the family of Cassie Lillian Fedoruk announce her passing on November 18, 2025, at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Cassie was the eldest child of John and Annie Paton, born on June 1, 1930, at 360 3rd St. E, Fort Frances, where she lived all her life.
She attended Robert Moore and Fort Frances High Schools and was united in marriage to John Fedoruk on May 17, 1952.
She was employed by the, then, Ontario Minnesota Pulp and Paper Company and worked in the office in various departments until 1958.

In 1966, she pursued a teaching career in the Business and Commerce Department at Fort Frances High School, upon its opening, where she taught the typewriting course until her retirement in 1988.
Cassie was predeceased by her father, John Paton on September 2, 1949, her mother Annie Paton on May 3, , and husband John on January 31, 2022, just short of 70 years of marriage.
She leaves to mourn her son Bob Fedoruk (Penny) and daughter Diane (Randy) White and two beloved grandchildren Dana (Alex) and Brian (Teagan); as well as one sister Mona McTaggart and her daughters Donna, Julie and Cheryl and families; and one sister-in-law Mae Fedoruk. Also left behind are great-grandchildren Chase, Chael, Max, Bodie and Saylor.
Special mention to Carley McCormick for making things easier for mom and our families.
Upon Cassie’s request there will be no funeral, a private family graveside service will be held.
Friends may donate to any charity of their choice in memory of Cassie.
