Caroline McPherson (nee Bzdok), 71, of R.R. #1, Sleeman, Ont., passed away at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. on Monday, Feb. 1, 1999.
She was born Jan. 6, 1928 in Little Falls, Mn.
Caroline moved to Fort Frances and then to the Rainy River area in 1990. She had worked as a dietitian at the Falls Nursing Home in International Falls, Mn. for a number of years.
Caroline was united in marriage to Arnold McPherson, who predeceased her March 5, 1994. She also was predeceased by an infant son and infant daughter.
She is survived by one daughter, Marcy Scheidt of Minneapolis, Mn.; and one son, Tim Ruport and wife, Nancy, of International Falls, Mn.
Also surviving are four grandsons; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Archie Bzdok and wife, Bev, of International Falls, Mn.; two sisters, Renie and husband, Russ Hall, of Baudette, Mn., and Helen and husband, Mickey Holmestad, of International Falls, Mn.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Feb. 5, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls, with Father Sandy officiating.
Cremation has taken place in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Interment will take place in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in International Falls at a later date.
