She was united in marriage to Raymond Tucker on March 9, 1957.
Carol spent many years at the island where Raymond had the commercial fishery. She helped him while raising her four children. She could work in the fish house, skin a beaver, and cook a great meal while keeping a watchful eye on the family.

After Ray’s death, Carol suffered many health issues and she moved to Rainycrest, making some very dear friends there.
Carol will be greatly missed by her children, Blaine (Janice), Tim (Cathy), Ray (Amanda), and Julie (Rick) McEvoy; 12 grandchildren, Daniel, Jenna, Jodie, Steven, Jen, Randy, Cassie, Joshua, Samantha, Elizabeth, Victoria, and Jess; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her brother, Earl (Barb) Miller; sisters-in-law, Loretta, Elsie, and Carol Miller; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; mother, Julia; father, Chris; stepfather, Herb Tofte; brothers, Harold and Roy Miller; sister, Joanne Tofte; and brothers-in-law, Horace, Gib, Ron, and George Tucker.
