CAROL ANN LANGFORD

Carol Ann Langford, 75, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016.
Carol was born Dec. 22, 1940 in Fort Frances to Reg and Ann Langford. She lived in Fort Frances all of her life.
She worked for Stedmans and Mel Newman as a young woman, then joined the local paper mill, where she worked as a custodian until her retirement.
Carol led a quiet life; she loved movies and was an avid reader.
She often spoke of spending time at Kettle Falls with her grandparents growing up. She loved her time there.
Carol was especially close to her family, Kathy and husband, Gib Tucker, and their family, Bill (Sandra) and their children, Jon and Hailey, Gib Jr. (Emma) and his son, Micheal, and AJ (Jenny) and their daughter, Taliah.
She also leaves behind her cousins, Mickey (Ken) Christiansen, Lynn (Roger) Laroche, and Doreen (Brian) McGill and their families.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, Reg and Ann; brother, Robert (Bob); aunt, Mary Mitchell; grandparents, Barney and Lenora Langford and Micheal and Paulie Polycki; and great cousin, Micheal Tucker.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Rev. Barbara Miller officiating.
Interment took place in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
The pallbearers were Gib Tucker, Bill Tucker, Gib Tucker Jr., A.J. Tucker, Carl Kocuiba, and Rod Davis.
