My Dad went to meet his maker in the night. The coldest night of the year, -50 with the wind. He smiled when I told him that. He met death on his own terms with enormous fortitude of will.
Brian was a bush man through and through. He was a teacher to many of us, bush knowledge that is hard to find. He will be greatly missed by many friends so close they were like family. He loved to hunt, fish, and drive the lake. He lived his life on his own terms, passionate about his views. He faced death the same way. Brian Bowes. Grandpa Bear. B. Friend, Brother, Dad.
Brian is survived by his children Arin (Joshua Rzepczynski) Bowes, and Adam (Amanda) Bowes; his grandchildren Drake Rzepczynski, Pandora Rzepczynski, Mavrik Rzepczynski, and Hudson Bowes; his brothers Richard (Carole) Bowes and Mark Bowes (Kathryn Cooper); and many other cousins nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and at Brian’s request there will be no service.
